I consider myself to be a professional reader that can sometimes be a bit snarky. I'm a tattoo'd, yoga pants wearing, mom of 2 boys.
I absolutely loved this book & I was kinda iffy on it. I was invested in all of the characters, I thought the plot was different from anything I've read, and it was really well written. This was the first book I've from this author and it won't be the last!
Lorraine 'Raine' Cooper is a 17 year old who's trying to deal with not only her father's disappearance but, her growing feelings for her new neighbor Torin (swoon) while she's dating Eirik her childhood friend. Raine starts to realize not everything is what it seems when it comes to Torin & she's determined to find out what it is.
Torin St. James is bad boy that's not bad. He's very protective and loyal when it comes to Raine. Did I mention that Torin is also sexy and very swoon worthy! Events happen and the mysterious Torin heals Raine and something changes inside her.
I really loved this book and enjoyed reading it. There wasn't any dull plot moments and was quickly paced. This book sucks you in and you won't want to stop reading it. I'm eagerly awaiting book 2 in this series.
